I was slightly less G-rated than that as the clock wound down.

Well, there's always next year...

Nah, next year is going to be the Pack vs. the Pats in a rematch from Superbowl XXXI, in which the Packers won a marvelous game. *ahem* Oh what..can't a person engage in a little wishful thinking nowadays? :)

As long as it isn't Dallas....

(Or Washington, or the Giants...)

You're absolutely right - I would have enjoyed the game much more if I weren't rooting for da Iggles. But they had a great season, and played a great game for three quarters (what were they doing with time management at the end?) and I think we'll be back at the Superbowl next year.

Thanks for the Richie Ashburn comment - !

Mercedes --

If you think about it, the Eagles really haven't had to run two minute drills much at all for the past two seasons. They haven't had that many close games where they trail at the end. I think that's why they looked like they had no idea what they were doing at the end.

Just a guess.

Ah, how I miss Ashburn....
